Aarunya Remote Teaching (ART) Online

The Aarunya Remote Teaching (ART) Online offering was created when an orphanage in Bengaluru reached out to us in 2021 after hearing about our successful ART Telephonic program. COVID made physical classes a challenge and online classes were the logical answer. ART Online program is designed to teach basic English Language skills to groups of children who have had little or no exposure to English.

ART Online program was developed by working on three key aspects:

• Modifying existing teaching content to make it more fun and interactive by embedding
videos and animation to ensure optimal online learning
• Volunteer teacher training where they were trained in the human and technical
aspects of connecting with students online.
• Identifying and putting in place infrastructure to facilitate online teaching at Aarunya and at student location.
